Not only violence begets violence, but silence does too. While news coverage of Palestine waned, yesterday July 16th was one of the heaviest bombings of Palestine since the war started (July 17, 2024, The Electronic Intifada, https://www.youtube.com/live/cOyKXbhzU-8?feature=shared). Yet the mainstream media is silent. Within Our Lifetime has a demo on Thurs. July 18th we can attend (https://x.com/WOLPalestine/status/1812652440568950822). The demo declares "No to Biden! No to Trump! No to all supporters of genocide!" They aren't having this demo in Pennsylvania or Florida; it in Grand Central Station, NYC (where the Democrats WILL win the election).

In New York State and California activists know the Democrats will win no matter what. If we want to teach the Democrats that funding genocide and opposing reparations is wrong, we can push back on them in NYS and CA by staying in the streets for Palestine and voting "undecided" or a third party that recognizes Israel as a settler colonial state and fights for federal reparations (Cornel West & Greens) or Black campaign for "Reparations" (http://d12m.com/reparations-is-our-primary-issue-in-2024-presidential-election/).

At least it is worth a discussion. Why not have someone from Within Our Lifetime or the Palestinian Youth Movement come discuss how we can support Palestine if we're lucky enough to live in NYS (or CA)? We are a non-binary people, we can think beyond the Dems vs. Reps.!
