Rev. Jacqui, you are preaching with a torch in one hand and liberation in the other. And I’m here for all of it.

Yes, love liberates. But not the Hallmark kind. Not the spiritualized silence kind. I’m talking about the kind of love that flips tables, rattles thrones, and walks barefoot through Babylon with a bullhorn and a go-bag.

What we’re seeing isn’t politics. It’s prophecy getting mugged in broad daylight. It’s Pharaoh dressing up like a patriot and handing out golden calves shaped like flags.

Birthright citizenship isn’t just a law. It’s a covenant with dignity. Undo that, and you’re not governing—you’re reincarnating Jim Crow with Wi-Fi access.

And don’t even get me started on Juneteenth. The last shall be free last? Only in an empire where freedom shows up late, exhausted, and still has to make its own celebration.

I’ll be marching, shouting, and praying in public because Jesus was a brown-skinned refugee with a death warrant from the state. He didn’t die so we could be polite about fascism.

Let the Freedom Arc rise. Let the saints carry joy like a weapon. And let the false kings choke on their own spectacle.

We’re not done. Love isn’t finished.

Given what has transpired so far this week, I am concerned it may be a precursor to Saturday. June 14 may be a historic, if not critical, turning point in the history of our country. I hope I'm wrong, but I am not optimistic.
