Fuel the Fight for Justice

Beloved, it is still Giving Tuesday and we can only imagine how many notes you’ve received inviting you to make a donation.

As we invite you to consider making a donation to Middle Church today, remember:

1. At Middle, we are committed to being as resourced and ready as possible to protect and care for all who will be targeted by the new administration. We are convening a group committed to sharing, preparing, and advocating - “The Fierce Urgency of Now Task Force.” This 8-10-person group will have its first meeting this Thursday night, December 5th, 7:00pm. (Yes, that is the fourth anniversary of the fire that took our sacred space. Look at how we are making sacred space, together, for ourselves and our communities, with the work we do!!)

2. Our next dinner with new New Yorkers, as part of our Immigration Justice is this Sunday, December 8^th from 4:30-6:30pm at East End Temple.

3. We're cohosting a Christmas party for new New Yorkers with Judson Church on Saturday, December 21st from 11:00-2:00pm.

4. A new Food Alliance is forming in the East Village. If you would like to represent Middle on this coalition that meets monthly.

5. We are co-sponsoring a coat drive with Assembly person Harvey Epstein's office.

We are also working to end child poverty in New York State with the Poor People’s Campaign AND to get the ERA passed during this administration.

These are some of the ways we are putting just love in the world family. Your donations make this happen. Thank you for powerful the love revolution we so desperately need!
