For the beauty of the earth. For the wonder of the sky. For the cresting of the waves. For the greening of the trees. For the swimming, crawling, creeping, leaping, flying, diving, walking, running of the creatures great and small.
God of all, creator of the universe, artist with many brush strokes, sculpture of clay, carver of stone. Slinger of stars and moons, you whose footprints carves out the valleys and pushes up the mountains. Thank you for the gift of our Mama Earth.
Make us stewards of her beauty, this amazing planet, this source of life and joy and plenty.
In this month of celebrating the earth, we gather on Sunday and hear from Kaitlin Curtice. I'll be speaking to the children about Mama Earth and how we care for her. The music will be jamming. Come in person or online and be blessed.
And we still need you to register to make freedom rise.
I love you
Jacqui
PS: **VERY IMPORTANT** OUR WORSHIP CELEBRATION TIME & LOCATION WILL CHANGE FOR ONE DAY, APRIL 28TH. We're excited to celebrate Freedom Rising with our friends at Marble Collegiate Church at 1 W29th street, not too far from EET, at 11AM (NOT 11:45AM). I do not want you to miss being with us so mark your calendars and set your alarms a little bit earlier.
Also, my beloved, talented artist and activist friend Genesis Be, is working with us, and HeartBound Ministries for Freedom Rising by hosting Art Night, where we will have a few of our own Middle family performing and showing off art work by some amazing incarcerated artists. This art night is a special night and extension of our conference hosted at Brooklyn Art Haus. April 27th, 7PM join us by RSVPing here; this is a free event.
